After almost 9 years I have finally looked at the last tapes that I filmed just after 9/11. It was a task, but once I found a simple way of converting the footage to upload I almost forgot the reason that I had ceased filming in the first place. This is a major breakthrough and hopefully will lead to my resuming filming. To start, I have uploaded raw footage of the beautiful landscape of St. Helena Island, South Carolina, and of a Native making fishing nets. This craft was handed down through the generations. You will also see a few seconds of baskets. I will have footage of that tradition; another passed down from the Rice Coast of Africa, the origin of many of their ancestors.
