This is my costume, which I created, for my character the mystical Soothsayer in Julius Caesar Set in Africa. I named her "Ofuna". How do you like the bone in my hair? Cute huh? Don't miss this award winning show which rocked on our opening night Saturday! At Nuyorican Poets Cafe Thurs-Sun til Dec. 19th.

A pic of me in rehearsal in the role as the mystical Soothsayer who tries to warn Julius Caesar about his impending demise. Previewed on Dec. 2nd at Nuyorican and opening tonight. Run is Thurs-Sun closing Dec. 19th. This is my first time on stage in over 21 years. Sophocles' "Lystistra" was my last role. Rome Neal's award winning adaptation of Shakespeare's tale of deceit takes place in 13th century Mali, Africa with a cast of 25, drummers, and dancers.
