ORIGINAL CAST MEMBER OF MY MYSTERY/THRILLER "A WOUND IN TIME" ON DISTINGUISHED LIST OF TOP PERFORMANCES OF 2011
Original cast member of my Santeria mystery/thriller "A Wound In Time" is on a list of distinguished Black Actors who gave 10 of the top performances of 2011. Hoji Fortuna who won Best Supporting Actor in the African Academy Awards for his role in the film "Viva Riva" is now noted as giving one of the 10 TOP PERFORMANCES OF 2011 by a Black Actor. So well deserved. And I am like the proud mother! Click on this post's title to see the list.
More good news coming soon regarding "A Wound In Time"!

Wow! So nice to see my cast and production team members last night! Sorry they had to brave the heavy rain and wind but as they say "that's show biz"! They are such a positive professional group and a pleasure to be around! Thanks God!

I also spent this week looking at theatres for the production of "Blood Makes The Red River Flow". I will make my final decision once I see the venue I have in mind one more time. The only dates available there in February are the 7th thru the 12th. It is right smack in the Theatre District. Once I sign on the dotted line tickets will go on sale just in time for Christmas. They will make a great gift! I will also be talking with the 4 publicists considering taking on this production. Stay tuned...
Well it was just like old times being on set of major productions. This was a commercial starring actor Blythe Danner... You know Gwenythe's mom. It was shot in the most ornate old theatre. They gave us lots of goodies to munch on as we waited... And waited... And waited... That's show biz! I also ran into two people that I knew on the set. One was an ex co-worker from when I worked at "Cats" on Broadway and the other was in the cast of "Tut" which I did Wardrobe for NYMF this past October. The small world of entertainment. Enjoy the pics!
