Rome Neal directed me in his adaption of Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar". It was during the run of my mystery/thriller "A Wound In Time" at Nuyorican Poets Cafe that I auditioned for the role of the Soothsayer in "Julius Caesar Set In Africa". Since then he has been supportive of my own productions. His support and nurturing manner I'm sure is responsible for his daughter Lia's achievement in the Summer Olympics in London. She is the 3rd from the left boldly holding the Bronze with her team members. Congratulations!

SIMULTANEOUSLY PENNING 2 NEW PLAYS! FEELING INSPIRED!
Finally resumed writing my 2 new plays and doing it simultaneously! Not planned, but just working out this way. You never know when the urge to write will hit so you just have to go for it when it does!
In 1970, Fannie Mae Brown, a former chorus girl known as "Della Starr" circa 1944, shows that even a church lady can have a "past" in "Silk Stockings and a Bible".
"Diamond", is an exotic dancer, whose trials and tribulations of life are played out on the runway in "Go! Go! Go-Go Girl!"
Both plays give female actors strong roles to play, and of course, address social issues...
