RIP EDGAR MALDONADO!

Closing night outside St. Lukes Theatre with Edgar (in knit cap) and cast

Almost 2 weeks to the day of the closing show of "A Wound In Time" our "honorary cast member" and conga player, Edgar Maldonado, succumbed to his 8 year battle with cancer.  I knew he had cancer and asked him to be on stage in the play to add the flavor of El Barrio with his conga beat.  I wanted to reach out and give him the opportunity to do what he loved and was damn good at doing.  I can't help but imagine that maybe he held on to keep his word, and  for the opportunity to be Off Broadway.  I'm so happy that he did... Mucho gracias Edgar!  RIP
