I am on a self imposed hiatus from all my creative dabblings until January. After producing and directing 2 projects every year for the past three years using my own resources I must regroup and deal with "me". Thus, I can return with sleeves rolled up and ready to deal with the many things I have planned. In my hunger for all that is cultural and artistic I plan on heading over to Italy and maybe take a peek at France to recharge my batteries. What's on the menu when I return?
I really want to begin a program of arts and cultural immersion for our endangered Black and Latino males, where I would give them an opportunity at hands-on experience helping on productions as well as treat them to the theatre, museum, etc. I also plan on showcasing "The Grinder", and go into pre-production of the feature film version of "A Wound In Time". Looking to bring my Creole drama into the schools, have more dinner theatre productions, and eventually to the Off Broadway stage. And finally complete the two remaining plays of the trilogy "Women You Thought You Knew".
