2015 WILL BE A BUSY YEAR AND I AM BOOKED!

I am happy to say that I have lots of irons in the fire for the upcoming year!  I thank my family and friends for their emotional and financial support in my endeavors, and the committed and professional cast members and crew.  For without them my work would not be complete.  It has been a whirlwind of prolific creativity and for that I thank the CREATOR!  Life is wonderful when you find your place in the Universe...

MY SUPERNATURAL MYSTERY THRILLER INDIE FEATURE IS ON THE MOVE!

The screenplay adaptation of my Off Off and Off Broadway production of "A Wound In Time" will be entering the pre-production phase in January and will begin filming in March.  Principal and featured roles are cast and principal crew hired.  Meetings with some of the top producers and promoters of New York City parties are scheduled to plan a 1990's themed fundraising party!  Stay tuned for the juicy details...

CHINESE NEW YEAR WORKSHOP PERFORMANCE FOR "WILD CHILD"

We'll be stepping up the pace after the holidays!  Many cast members will be away for the holidays and we will be on break from rehearsals until January 3rd.  Look for a very insightful performance when family issues and cultural pressures clash...

The full production of the entire trilogy, "Women You Thought You Knew",  has been pushed back to late Spring/early Summer for a 2 week run Off Off Broadway, and a 3 day run Off Broadway, contingent upon venue and cast member availability.

WELCOME ABOARD TO THE WORKSHOP PRODUCTION OF "WILD CHILD"!

Wishing the best to the cast members of the staged reading of "Wild Child" who, either due to schedule conflicts, the impending birth of their first child, or moving over to another play in the trilogy, had to withdraw from moving on with the project.

And welcome to Cindy Lee, who takes of the lead role of free spirit "Susan Li; Tina Moore as the Afro-Chinese relative, who is also cast to play the role of Millie in the film, "A Wound In Time".  Thank you all so much! Steve Barkman, as the male lead "Vet"; Jan Mizshumi, as "Aunt Carol"; and Andrew Hsu as the obnoxious brother "Peter" reprise their roles from the staged reading.

DIGITAL OR FILM??? THAT IS THE QUESTION!

Meetings, discussing options for Production of, "A Wound In TIme:The Feature Film". Film or digital? It will cost more but film adds that something special if you want to create Art as opposed to just a film... I'm leaning toward film. Stay tuned. Pre-production slated to begin right after New Years!

"WILD CHILD" REHEARSALS TO FINALLY BEGIN WITH CAST CHANGES!

Dates had to be pushed back for the workshop of the final installment in my trilogy as I worked on the script adding another character to "stir the pot" in "Wild Child". This caused scheduling conflicts for some and thus they'll be a few new faces and surprises in the cast! Look for 2 members from the cast of my upcoming feature, "A Wound In Time", to tear up the stage as well! Workshop production goes up mid January and full production of entire trilogy early Spring for an Off Off Broadway 2 week run.  Hoping to get a few dates Off Broadway, as well.

CREW INTERVIEWS FOR THE FILM "A WOUND IN TIME" COMING SOON!

I will begin the process of interviewing a crew in the coming days.  I am very hopeful that I will have a production team that is passionate about creating ART!

THANK YOU!!!

A special THANK YOU to Delilah Lloyd for her donation to the feature film, "A Wound In Time".  She is also one of the producers of one of the plays in my trilogy, "Wild Child".  "Wild Child" goes into rehearsal soon for its workshop production in mid January.

BRAVO! THANK YOU!

What a wonderful table read last night! Most of the cast saw the script for the first time and managed to bring the characters to life without direction. The private reading was for folks who had submitted for production crew positions as I wanted them to hear the story first and then decide if they wanted to move on to being interviewed as part of the "organic process". I am happy to say that they were very impressed with the cast and the story. Many thanks to Anissa Smith, Frankie Ramos, Wanda Colon, Tina Moore, Evan Davis, Michelle Lamelza, Irma Cadiz, Stacey Griffin, Alan Liddell, John Larkin, Steve Devito, Bill Barry, China L. Colston, and Gyavira Lasana! Next phase will be crew interviews next week. Bravo all!

Now to finally get the last installment of my trilogy, "Wild Child", mounted as a workshop production to fulfill my timeline for the project.

MURIEL LI WILL ARRIVE ON THE STAGE IN "WILD CHILD"

Working on writing in the character Muriel Li in the revisions of the last play of the trilogy "Wild Child". She is a spunky Bahamian who arrives in America for her Chinese father's funeral. She appears on the scene of her Chinese American family stirring the pot challenging her oppressive, obnoxious nephew about the treatment of his free spirit older sister. Her arrival in America changes the whole dynamic of the family. She's gonna spice it up! LOL

UPDATED PROJECT TIMELINE

You should know me by now... I do things on a "wing and a prayer". That's the only way things get done if you have little to no resources.  I am grateful that I have many abilities to get the job done and end up wearing many hats because of limited funds.  Those who have doubted me learned to doubt no more... Doing what you do for love is the greatest motivation.

2 DOWN AND 1 TO GO!!!!!!!

The second play of the trilogy had it's workshop performance August 27th before a very appreciative audience.  Lots of great pics taken by my Co-Producer, Bill Russo, posted below.  My sister also took tons of stills which will be posted when available.  One more play to be workshopped and then we hid to a full production early 2015 at a larger venue, possibly Off Broadway for a historical run.  Thanks to all who made it possible!
